A technology demo of the C4 Engine can be downloaded using one of the links below.

All of the tools that ship with the C4 Engine are included in this demo. To access the tools, hit the tilde key after running the engine, and a command console will appear along with a menu bar at the top of the screen. The Tools menu contains commands for creating new worlds (Ctrl-N) and opening existing worlds (Ctrl-O). For more information about the World Editor, see the World Editor Overview on our wiki.

Requirements

This demo requires the June 2008 version of DirectX or later.

Get latest version of DirectX

Supported graphics cards are as follows:

Nvidia: GeForce FX 5200 or higher.
ATI: Radeon 9600 or higher.
Intel: GMA X3000 or higher.

Please make sure that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card before running the demo.

Installation

Requirements

This demo requires Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard). Please run Software Update before running the demo.
